This updates the link to TradeBlock so that it points to the bitcoin
section of their site instead of their homepage. Their homepage loads a
generic page about enterprise tools for blockchain assets.
This will be merged once tests pass.
This drops BitcoinFilm.org from the Resources page and will be merged
once tests pass. Their site has been showing a PHP error and hasn't been
loading properly for a couple of weeks, now.
Biteasy is shutdown and is referenced in a few places
on the site. This replaces Biteasy with BlockCypher, so that people
are no longer getting sent to a dead link.
Unless others object to BlockCypher being substituted for Biteasy, this
will be merged on Wednesday, May 23rd.
This drops Airbitz from the resources page as a place to go to find
Merchants. The link was pointing to their homepage which doesn't
appear to contain any relevant information.
It was originally added to the page back in 2015
(8308d27c2a), so perhaps the page has
changed quite a bit since then.
Unless others object, this will be merged on Wednesday, May 23rd.
CriptoNoticias is the most read digital newspaper about Bitcoin in Spanish since 2015. We have over 1 million views per month with exclusive news about Latinamerica and Spain and other significant topics related to cryptocurrencies.
Hello.
I think this website would be an useful metric for the Charts page. It calculates the historical volatility [1] of the Bitcoin price using the Coindesk API[2] (which will change to BitcoinAverage soon && more features will be added). Volatility is a very special metric as Bitcoin is slowing moving forward towards stability that can be seen in traditional fiat currencies, and was used as an argument against Bitcoin in the past.

I would like to hear other people's input.
Bitrefill sells refills of prepaid phones used by 75% of mobile users worldwide, and is one of the most common purchases for bitcoin users all over the world. Supports > 150 countries, in many of which this is the only thing that can be purchased with bitcoin.
I'm not sure why this site was added. It doesn't offer much of anything that you wouldn't find on the more established sites. There is little to no unique/original content, and there is apparently no fact checking before something is published. Latest example is an article claiming Phil Potter is a Bitcoin core dev while also getting his Bitfinex job title wrong (among other errors): https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitfinex-cso-theres-chinese-political-effort-delay-block-segwit/
